The Crane family is quite large, my grandfather having 8 siblings!
However, although some of them lived quite close to where we did in Hampstead road, we never saw much of each other except for a couple of Aunt's and uncles.
Over the past few years, I have made more and more contact with them and the latest result of that was an invitation to join Vanessa in Grays, Essex for a get-together on 21st July 2013.
Although slightly aprehensive, I accepted and had a thoroughly good time meeting some members of my family that I had known for quite a while yet also meeting some that I had never met (or, at least, don't ever remember meeting) over the past 50+ years!
