So now that the longest day is over (although there is some confusion over exactly when the longest day is during a leap-year.. Is it the 20th or 21st?), we can look forward to the days getting shorter all the way to Christmas. There. I've said it. For the 1st time this year, the "C" word is mentioned.

Not long now until the shops get their decorations up & start trying to sell us wrapping paper & pretty (?) bows to tie presents up with.
Admittedly, sunset actually continues to get later for a few more days but sunrise is getting later (making the day shorter than it was yesterday..)
A great time for grumpies everywhere.
Perfect opportunity to say "Bah! Humbug! and not stand out from the crowd.
