Worryingly, for the second time within a week, someone said 'you should stand for the upcoming local commissioners elections' and this second time it was from one of the commissioners themselves! Now, the idea of leaving work was to do less, not more, work and have more time to do what I want rather than be at the beck and call of another lot of meetings.
But it was nice to know that people think I could do it and had the interest and knowledge.
