Today saw the first lap of the TT course on the KTM for 2008. In fact, it's the 1st lap of the course since I arrived here back in December but the weather hasn't been too great lately and the mountain road has been shut a couple of times...
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
After all, I could be classed as a Manx biker now although I do at least still have a full year's tax & insurance!
A great day today for it though.
Apart from a couple of slow drivers and a lorry through Glen Helen, the rest of the course was pretty much empty - nice of these people to go to work and leave a clear(-ish) road for me!
One thing I did see a few of.. Sad people in their convertible cars. Yes, it was sunny but it was only about 10° but there a few of these muppets driving around with their roof down but wrapped in hats, scarves and gloves. Fer Chrissakes - put the roof on and turn up the heating if you're that cold!
