Oh how excited some things can make us nerds...


One thing about moving into the year 2010 is that the last two digits can create some "interesting" effects.

Apart from the obvious 8th September 2010 at 5:06 and 7 seconds when it will be "05 06 07 08 09 10"

Today's date, the 11th January, gives us the last 'binary' date for now - 54 (110110; 66 octal, 36 hex)

Yesterday was 38 (100110 - 46 oct, 26 hex) and the earliest was of course 22 - 010110 (26 oct, 16hex)

The next ones wont occur until October when we can 'look forward to'  26 (011010), 42 (101010 - the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything!) and finally, 58 (111010)


...Oh how the winter nights just fly by.... Yes, I spent time to work this out... [Note to self: Must get out more during 2010...]
