Rumours were going around last week that the price of a pint in Isle of Man pubs was likely to be going DOWN Yes, Down!
Imagine my (pleasant) surprise when I bought the first round tonight & only got charged £4.00 for 2 pints - it has gone down by 44 pence in our local pub (The Archibald Knox in Onchan)
Now although the 'do-gooders' have had a moan, J D Wetherspoons have reduced the price of a pint to 99p in their pubs!
Unfortunately, we don't have any of their pubs over here but I'll look forward to popping into one of them on my next trip across, even though it is only Green King IPA on offer.
