Having milk delivered to the doorstep is pretty usefu especially in the bad weather, and a by-product is that the passing of time (dates) can been readily observed.
This is because each carton is 'use before' date-stamped (as is everything nowadays) and back in October I remember thinking how fast the year was going but today's milk bore the date '25 Dec' - a sure sign that Christmas is just around the corner!
I guess next week will see the first cartons with a 2009 year on them... Where did the year go?
