Just returned from the Bike show at the NEC. I don't usually go to this and the last time was years ago in a van with a group of others from Powerhouse bikes in Kentish town
This year, it was two nights, all-expenses-paid by the Isle of Man government department of Tourism & Leisure on behalf of the TT Marshals association to help with recruitment.
We were based on the Duke Marketing site and had a HUGE poster of Gary Johnston coming out of Rhencullen behind us, smaller copies of which we were giving away.
Although it was 'work' so there wasn't much time to have a good look around, it was good to meet so many people that had either 'always wanted to visit' or 'came every year' to the Isle of Man. The Island certainly punches above its own weight when it comes to Motorcycling!
Anyway, It gave me a chance to sit on my next KTM & visit a great pub called 'the Lamp Tavern', just outside the city centre.
