Checking through some old web pages
I discovered that today, back in 1978, I visited the Isle of Man for the very first time.
The full story is available through one of my website but basically, I travelled here with a good friend of mine, Phil Cranfield, after driving from London on the 8th, staying overnight in a place called Llanarmon-Yn-Lal in North Wales, close to Mold and getting the ferry across on the 9th after driving through the Mersey tunnel.
So, as I write this, it's now over 30 years since I first came here!
