Now most people know I am a bit of a geek when it comes to broadcast radio but this week is taking its toll! I seem to have lost my personal radio at the end of the Manx Grand Prix so I have been unable to listen 'live' to the Moyles and Mills radio shows on Radio 1 at 06:30 and 16:00 respectively.
So that I don't miss any of the shows, I've been recording them from 'listen again' and listening to them on either my iPod or laptop.
However, this week has seen me stuck in front of any PC that is connected to the Internet as Scott Mills is doing his show live from his own flat (somewhere in London) but also covered by six cameras showing his Kitchen, bedroom, landing, stairs, living room and a special 'headcam' worn by various people during the day.
Absolutely brilliant radio - I only wish they would broadcast the 'talkback' channel which is usually used between the studio and control cubicle but during an outside broadcast is used to keep in contact between the main studio and the OB presenter (& engineers, producers etc.)
