Yep, it's been a busy few weeks with the Manx Grand Prix races but, as a holiday to myself (as if I hadn't had enough of those by now) I decided, on the spur of the moment, to visit Andy in Dalton so we could visit the Ulverston Beer Festival. This usually runs at the end of the MGP so I've not been able to make it but this year, presumably because the 1st of the Month was a Monday (or something like that), it was held a week later and I could therefore make it.
We visited it last night and whilst it is obviously not as 'impressive' as the GBBF, it still had a good range of beers, quite a few of them local to the area.
It must have been pretty good - I woke with a bit of a hangover this morning! (& it was only just 'morning' at 11:40)
Oh well, someone has to do it.....
