That's that finished!
My month away has finished with the only really wet ride on the bike I had. The only other one was a downpour on the way over (a month ago) but that only lasted a couple of minutes. Despite the inclement weather and the 3 hour delay to the IoMSPCo sailing from Liverpool to Douglas (which they at least told us about so I didn't have to rush to the pier head), I finally got home at about 01:30 this morning.

Brian & Jackie (Marchwood);

And during the tripI have:
Flown an airplane;
Met the swanage railway guys & 11th Signals brigade;
Been to three radio broadcasts;
Been to the GBBF (a couple of times!)
All-in-all, a pretty damn good trip!
and now I'm home for a rest before the Manx Grand Prix starts next Saturday (weather & Marshals permitting!)
