Yes, the subject of the Millennium bug is in the news..
What annoys me are the people that say it was a big non-event..
OF COURSE it was a non-event because the previous year had seen massive amounts of work put in to fix the software that was going to fail when the year changed from 1999 to 2000. I know this as I was one of the people working to make sure legacy (read 'old'!) code was brought up to date!
