I finally succumbed to joining Facebook this weekend. So many people have been on about it and with the latest outcry over the redesigned pages, I couldn't resist it any more and had to have a look.
On a technical aspect, I think it looks very good and the layout is very clean. Of course I don't know what the old site looked like so I can't comment on whether it is better or worse.
It is a great tool for finding friends, old and new, but what a lot of other junk there is on the site. Sending presents to other people, partaking in Poker and other games - don't these people have lives? I thought I spent a lot of time on the internet - I hope my use of this great invention it is a little more educational and useful.
