Some people find it difficult to understand why I like 'Countryfile' on the BBC on a Sunday but I do... I guess it stems from the days before 24-hour news & weather where they issued a full, 5-6 day weather report for the coming week.
Most of the time, I find the stories either interesting or sometimes a little bizarre but seldom do I find any of their reports annoying..
Until this week that is.
They did a report on why there were less 'Black & Asian' people visiting the countryside around the peak district than 'White' people (their references, not mine).
One person being interviewed was the new Chairman of the 'Peak District National Park Authority'. An Asian.
One of the 'major' reasons he quoted? "..The Information published is not in the right language".
I'm sorry?
Surely it is published in English.
Isn't that the language of Derbyshire then?
