Now most of you will know that I have been a fan of the Help For Heroes site for a long while although I think it is terrible that our Armed Forces need a charity to provide support when it should come from the Government.
Having said that, any effort to raise money should be applauded like the Rugby match played on 20th September 2008 at Twickenham but surely the line should be drawn at the current song recorded by X-Factor contestants.
What a dirge.
How miserable can a song get? It was bad enough when the Diva Mariah Carey sang (screeched?) it originally.
Why couldn't they have used a better song? Something that wont be forgotten so quickly.
Sadly, this is going to be associated with the charity for a long time now.
Hopefully, someone will come up with a different song for the same reason which will confine this one to the bin!
